Ty Rhiw Cottage is a cosy, peaceful 2 bed cottage in Cilgerran. Nestled in the beautiful countryside of West Wales, just 10 minutes from the stunning sea side town of Cardigan and with Pembrokeshire walks on the doorstep it’s ideally located to explore all that West Wales has to offer.
Ty Rhiw Cottage is the perfect mix of cosy charm and traditional character with all the modern comfort and convenience of your own home.
Located part way between the Pembrokeshire coast and the much loved towns of Cardigan, Newport, Newquay, Haverfordwest etc it’s the perfect spot for exploring the best West Wales has to offer.
The Space
The cottage is set in a quiet spot, nestled in the tree tops above the teifi valley, just off the main street of the village and with free on-street parking. There is a lovely patio area at the front, looking out along the valley, with the river below and Cilgerran castle in the distance, a great spot for watching the sun go down, absolute bliss on a summer and even winters evening.
Fully renovated in 2021
Fully renovated in 2021, but still retaining lots of character, the cottage has a wood-burning stove, timber beams, and exposed stonework.
Open Plan Living Space
The front door opens into an open-plan living space, a modern dining kitchen with plenty of room for preparing and eating meals, the lounge area centred around the woodburning stove (free firewood) has a smart tv and patio doors opening out onto the patio, perfect for those summer evenings.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances – oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, all crockery and utensils are supplied.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, both have double beds, and both rooms have fabulous country views along the Teifi valley to Cilgerran castle. The stylish new cottage bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sky light window allowing you to stargaze from the bath.
Bedding and towels are provided, but please ensure you bring your own beach towels.
Flexible check in and out times can be arranged. Max 2 x well behaved dogs welcome.
